A promotional video created for the upcoming documentary Countdown to Zero will feature the track “Headed for the End of the World” off the album Mr. Sad Clown. Countdown to Zero discusses an issue on which human survival itself hangs: the very real possibility of nuclear disaster.

Regarding the song Kurt Neumann states:
“I wrote the song about extremism, about the importance of finding a middle ground for the sake of humanity as a whole. I wish we could end extremism. Wish we could come together at the middle-for the sake of all. Since that is unlikely, it is imperative that we eliminate nuclear weapons.”

From the producers of An Inconvenient Truth, the film is slated for release in theaters on Friday, July 23rd. The BoDeans ask you to see Countdown to Zero and to support Global Zero, an international organization dedicated to nuclear disarmament, which provided production assistance for the film.
